Teacher Appreciation Week :: May 28-31
The end of the school year is around the corner...it's the perfect time to show our teachers how much we appreciate them! Please note that Room Parents will be sending information to their classes regarding specifics, so there is a possibility that these might change slightly for your student's class.

Monday 5/27 -- No School, it's Memorial Day!
Tuesday 5/28 -- Bring a flower to school for your teacher
Wednesday 5/29 -- Dress in your teacher's favorite color or sports team
Thursday 5/30 -- Students will create a basket of goodies for their teachers -- treats, snacks, and "stuff"
Friday 5/31 -- Bring a note/letter/card/drawing to give to your teacher
SPIRIT WEEK starts May 30
It's not October yet, but Spirit Week is almost as fun as dressing up for Halloween! Here is the schedule:
Thursday 5/30 - Wacky Tacky Day - Get wacky. Get tacky. Get goofy. Get spoofy. Wear your clothes inside out or shoes on the wrong feet (ouch). Wake up with bed head and just go with it! Get creative!
Friday 5/31 - One-Color Day - Can you dress in all one color? Kindergarten: Yellow; 1st Grade: Red; 2nd Grade: Blue; 3rd Grade: Green; 4th Grade: Orange; 5th Grade: Pink (We're not sure who picked Pink!?)
Monday 6/3 - Twins Day - We don't live in Minnesota, so we're not talking about THOSE kind of Twins. Coordinate with a friend and dress exactly alike. (Any triplets out there?!?)
Tuesday 6/4 - Jersey Day - Wear a jersey of your favorite pro team, college team, or high school team. Got your own team? Wear the jersey!
Wednesday 6/5 - McAuliffe Day - Which grade has THE MOST spirit? Wear your McAuliffe Challengers spirit wear or blue/gold colors and we'll find out!!
NOTE: Students should bring or wear tennis shoes on the day they have PE.
